Adele, Grammy Award winning British singer, caught the attention of the world when she posted a photo on her Instagram account for her 32nd birthday. She was wearing a black dress and was showing her amazing transformation. It is very apparent that she lost a lot of weight and she was looking very happy and healthy.
This photo gained online attention and garnered loads of comments from the all over the world.
So how did Adele lose weight?
During an interview, Adele said that her weight lost journey did not happen fast. She lost weight over the course of 2 years. She started her health journey after giving birth and weight loss was not the reason but it is more to benefit her mental health and to cope with the demands of her tour.
Adele’s Exercise Routine
Peter Geracimo, Adele’s personal trainer, had been working with her to achieve her goals. Adele’s routine is very strenuous as she works out three times a day – this had been controversial as others perceived that this maybe too much.
Her work out includes lifting weights in the morning, hiking or boxing in the afternoon and cardio exercises at night.
When Adele and I started our journey together, it was never about getting super skinny. It was about getting her healthy. Especially post pregnancy and post surgery. When 25 dropped and the tour announced, we had to get ready for a 13 month gruelling schedule. In that time, she warmed to training and made better food choices. As a result, she lost considerable weight and people took notice. Her body transformation was splashed across every media outlet. The attention it generated was mind-blowing.

The mum-of-one is also a fan of Reformer Pilates and High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and she trains with Dalton Wong, Canadian personal trainer and nutritional expert, to diversify her exercise regime. She mixes up her exercises, as she confesses that she doesn’t like going to the gym.

Adele made some lifestyle changes that had a positive effect on both her body and mind. She removed sugar, caffeine, alcohol, cigarettes – all of which can be harmful to the body.
She credits Sirtfood Diet and exercise for her transformation. It paved the way for her to achieve her goal of having a healthy lifestyle.

They’re used to people documenting everything on Instagram, and most people in my position would get a big deal with a diet brand. I couldn’t. I did it for myself and not anyone else. So why would I ever share it? I don’t find it fascinating. It’s my body.
